Ofir Mordechai Yaron
51 years old
Ofir Mordechai Yaron, 51, of Kibbutz Magen, was a husband, father of two and member of the kibbutz’s local security team. He was away visiting his elderly father when Hamas attacked on October 7. After his daughter called to tell him what was happening, Ofir immediately set out toward Magen to help defend his community. He was killed by Hamas terrorists on the way back to the kibbutz.
