Osama Abu Madiam, 28, was from Mahrat in the Negev. He traveled to work in Moshav Mivtahim in the agricultural area near the Gaza border. On October 7, he was murdered in a field near Mivtahim during the Hamas attack. Public sources currently provide little additional information about his family, profession beyond his work there, interests or personality. Osama is remembered here individually as a young working man whose ordinary day took him to the fields of southern Israel and whose 28 years of relationships, experiences and hopes were far greater than the limited details preserved publicly.
