Phirun Thanonphim

Phirun “Bom” Thanonphim, 34, was a Thai agricultural worker, husband and father of three who came to Israel in 2021 to earn money for his family. He worked on a dairy farm and sent half his salary home each month, dreaming of building a house, buying a car and raising his own cattle. On October 7, Hamas terrorists attacked the foreign workers’ residences in Kibbutz Nir Oz and murdered Phirun alongside several of his friends.
