Phithak Tholaeng, 54, was a Thai national living and working in Israel. Kan’s October 7 memorial project identifies him with Moshav Yesha and records that he was murdered in the orchards of the moshav on October 7. Publicly available sources currently provide little additional information about his family, interests or earlier life in Thailand. Phithak is remembered here individually as one of the Thai workers whose labor was part of the agricultural communities of southern Israel. The limited public record cannot capture the relationships, experiences and hopes that made up his 54 years of life.
