Phongphat “Kom” Suchat
29 years old
Phongphat “Kom” Suchat, 29, was an agricultural worker from Kantharalak District in Sisaket Province, northeastern Thailand. A husband and father of two children, ages 10 and 4, he had worked in Israel for more than three years alongside his older brother Surat. His earnings helped support his wife, Warunee, their children and his parents back home. After the October 7 attack, Phongphat called his family to reassure them that he was safe. On October 10, he was killed by rocket fire at Talmei Eliyahu. His wife remembered the everyday care he showed his family, including calling to ask whether she had eaten and whether their child had done his homework.
