Ran Poslushni, 48, of Kibbutz Nahal Oz, was a husband, father of four and Ashdod Port worker known for his sharp humor, cooking and willingness to help others. When Hamas terrorists invaded on October 7, Ran took his son’s army rifle and fought attackers trying to enter his home. After defending his family and community, he was tragically killed by accidental IDF fire amid the battle.
