Ravit Chana Assayag, 19, of Ashdod, was a Border Police officer, musician and surfer who loved singing and playing guitar on the beach. When Hamas terrorists were discovered hiding inside a building in Moshav Yakhini on October 7, Ravit volunteered to enter first and asked her partner to cover her. She was shot and killed while confronting the terrorists. Her family remembered her courage, creativity and constant smile.
