Reouven Chicheportiche, 38, of Shlomit, was a husband, father and member of his community’s local security team, remembered as someone who was always ready to help. When Hamas terrorists invaded nearby Moshav Pri Gan on October 7, Reouven joined other defenders rushing to save the community. He was killed in the fierce battle, but their resistance stopped the attackers from carrying out a massacre in the town.
