Roee “Royo” Munder, 50, of Kibbutz Nir Oz, was a warm and dependable son, brother and uncle who always showed up when family needed him. He shared a special bond with his nephew Ohad through games, sports and technology and became an honorary uncle to many friends’ children. Curious and open-minded, Roee loved history, geography, archaeology, art and film and had an exceptional memory. A passionate sports fan, he followed Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball, Maccabi Netanya and Liverpool around Israel and abroad. He was studying cloud communications and hoping to begin a new professional chapter.
