Shoham
Roei Peri, 19, of Shoham, was a Golani soldier who loved tennis and playing music. When Hamas terrorists invaded the Paga outpost on October 7, Roei joined soldiers fighting at the gate. Although his commander later sent most of them back to shelter, Roei volunteered to stay and continue the defense. He and his commander were both killed in the battle.
