Efrat
Roey Weiser, 21, of Efrat, was a Golani soldier and volunteer firefighter remembered for always putting others first. When Hamas terrorists overran his position near Kerem Shalom on October 7, Roey deliberately drew the attackers’ attention away from the base so other soldiers could escape. His family said his actions helped save at least 12 comrades before he was killed.
