Roland Joseph Charles Sultan, 68, was born in Tunisia, spent his teenage years in France and later built a life in Israel with his wife Ronit. The couple met at Kibbutz Kerem Shalom, lived for several years in Argentina and eventually settled in Kibbutz Holit. Roland served for many years as Holit’s community manager before retiring less than a year before October 7. Hamas terrorists murdered Roland and Ronit in their home that morning.
