Ronen Deitchman, 49, was a beloved physics teacher, electrical engineer and devoted father. For seven years he taught at Eshel Hanasi High School, where colleagues said his close personal connection with students transformed the physics program into one many wanted to join. A Ben-Gurion University graduate, he also taught in the university’s engineering preparatory program. Ronen was remembered as far more than a teacher — an inspiring educator and exemplary family man. He was the father of Mia and Guy. Ronen was murdered at the Nova music festival on October 7.
