Roni Polvanov, 23, from Ramle, was a former IDF firefighter who had served at Hazor Airbase and helped battle fires sparked near the Gaza border. Family and friends remembered him as funny, professional, loving and someone who connected people and helped everyone around him. He loved music and dancing and often assisted a cousin who worked as a DJ. Roni was murdered by Hamas terrorists while trying to flee Supernova on October 7; his body was found three days later.
