Rodolfo “Rody” Skarisevski, 57, was an Argentine-born Israeli from Moshav Ohad who made aliyah as a lone soldier. A devoted husband and father of three, he loved cooking and was remembered by his family as deeply generous, loving and patriotic. When the attack began on October 7, Rody set out to pick up his frightened youngest daughter in Beersheba. Hamas gunmen shot and murdered him on the road; his son, serving with IDF reserves in the south, later found his body.
