Ruth Peretz, 16, loved music and attending festivals with her father Erick. Born with cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy, she used a wheelchair, and her father devoted himself to her care. Family members said Ruth could be so happy at festivals that she sometimes did not want to go home; going together had become a special tradition for father and daughter. On October 7, Erick brought Ruth to Supernova, where Hamas terrorists murdered them both. Their bodies were identified more than 10 days later.
