Samer, 22, from Hura, worked in the poultry hatchery at Kibbutz Nir Am and often took weekend shifts that brought him to work early in the morning. He survived more than two months in Hamas captivity and escaped with Yotam Haim and Alon Shamriz. The three were mistakenly shot by IDF troops in Gaza on December 15 after trying to reach Israeli forces.
Samer Fuad El-Talalka, 22, of Hura - Abducted from Kibbutz Nir Am on October 7. He managed to escape from Hamas captivity on December 15, but was mistaken for a terrorist by IDF troops, who opened fire and killed him during battle.
