Satawat Phiia-ia

Satawat Phiia-ia, 27, was a Thai national living and working at Kibbutz Kissufim. Kan’s October 7 memorial project confirms his age, nationality and presence at the kibbutz, although public sources currently provide few details about his family, interests or earlier life. His name appears under several English transliterations, including Sattawat Phiaaia. He was killed during the October 7 attack on Kissufim. Satawat is remembered here as an individual and as part of the Thai agricultural community whose work was woven into daily life in southern Israel.
