Ahuzat Barak
Shalev Gal of Ahuzat Barak grew up in the small northern community near Afula with his twin brother, Asaf. He loved nightlife, trance music and the freedom he found dancing at festivals, and he was preparing to begin a university degree after Supernova. On October 7, Shalev attended the festival with friends Gideon and Noa Chiell and Tamar Goldenberg. When the attack began, the four tried to drive home together. Their vehicle was struck near Mefalsim and all four were killed. Shalev is remembered as a young man at the threshold of a new chapter, with studies and plans for his future ahead of him.
