Shani Ben Ami
26 years old
Shani Ben Ami of Holon was a talented singer, designer and seamstress who loved travel and making other people happy. She studied music in high school, worked at Tel Aviv’s 2C restaurant and performed around the country with an entertainment troupe. Purim was especially meaningful to Shani: every year she designed and sewed costumes for her friends, always finishing her own last because she wanted everyone else to be happy first. A childhood friend said Shani’s goal in life was simply to be happy, make others happy and do good. She was murdered while trying to flee the Supernova festival.
