Shilo Har-Even, 25, was a Golani company commander remembered as a gifted leader who dreamed of one day serving the country in public life. On October 7, Shilo and his soldiers fought Hamas terrorists along the Gaza border and then rushed to the besieged Nahal Oz base. Though badly wounded in the hand, he refused to stop fighting and continued leading his men until he was killed in the battle.
