Shimon “Shimi” Hayat, 29, of Ofakim, was a devoted father whose young son remained deeply connected to his memory. Shimi had played soccer growing up, later worked in a mechanic shop and loved riding his motorcycle. After a holiday meal with his family, he went to the Supernova festival with friends and was murdered there by Hamas terrorists on October 7.
