Shiraz Tamam, 38, of Holon, was a therapeutic swimming instructor who worked with people with special needs. She and her husband, Adir, built their life around their two young daughters, Goshen and Gili. Both Shiraz and Adir worked in therapeutic swimming, using the water to support others — Shiraz with people with special needs and Adir with young children. On October 7, the couple were driving toward the Supernova festival when the rocket fire began. They sought shelter along the road and were murdered together. Shiraz is remembered as a mother, wife and caregiver whose work was devoted to helping others.
