Shoshana, 85, was born in Buenos Aires and moved to Israel alone at 15. An artist and longtime art teacher, she was remembered in the Eshkol region as a legendary educator who believed every child could create. In later years she lived in Kibbutz Be’eri near her daughter Mayana and son-in-law Noah Hershkovitz. All three were murdered on October 7; their bodies were found after more than 10 days. Her home was burned, destroying almost all of her artwork.
