Kfar Azza
Cindy Flash, 67, was a Minnesota native who moved to Israel decades ago, where she met and married Igal Flash and made her home in Kibbutz Kfar Aza. Her daughter remembered her as all “heart and soul,” while friends recalled her wit, humor and concern for other people. On October 7, Cindy and Igal hid in their home’s safe room during the Hamas attack and were murdered there. Their family waited five days before learning that their bodies had been found.
