Srithat Kawao
43 years old
Srithat Kawao, 43, came from Kamphaeng Phet in central Thailand and worked in agriculture at Kibbutz Nir Oz, where he helped grow avocados. His work placed him among the Thai agricultural community that contributed to farming in southern Israel. Public sources currently provide little additional information about his family, interests or personality, but they preserve an important part of his everyday life: he was a farm worker whose labor helped cultivate the kibbutz. Srithat was killed during the October 7 attack on Nir Oz, one of eleven Thai nationals murdered there. He is remembered by name and for the life and work he built far from home.
