Svetlana, 61, and her husband Yuri, 63, moved from Lysychansk, Ukraine, to Israel more than 25 years ago and built their life in Ashdod. Loved ones remembered Svetlana as gentle and beautiful, and the couple as devoted parents and grandparents who cooked, traveled, cycled and hosted friends together. On October 7, they went fishing at Zikim Beach and were murdered there. Their bodies were identified more than a week later.
