Tal Bira
62 years old
Kibbutz Be'eri
Tal Bira, 62, was the older brother of Oron Bira and a member of the Bira family of Kibbutz Be’eri. On October 7, Tal was murdered alongside Oron, Oron’s wife Yasmin, and their daughters Tahir and Tahel during the Hamas massacre at the kibbutz. For nearly two weeks after the attack, relatives and friends held onto hope that the five family members might have been taken hostage. Their remains were ultimately discovered and identified, and the family was laid to rest together in a joint funeral at Moshav Hogla.
