Tal Danieli, 23, of Beersheba, was energetic, warmhearted and devoted to animals. From childhood he rescued injured or abandoned animals; as an adult his home included dogs, hamsters and nearly one hundred parrots. He served as a Border Police combat medic and later worked in security while pursuing his dream of becoming a barber. Tal loved Hapoel Beersheba soccer and was planning a future with his girlfriend, Mor, including marriage. On October 9, he volunteered to protect electrical workers repairing power near Kerem Shalom and was tragically killed by friendly fire.
