Tal Keren, 17, was a high school student from Netiv Ha’asara who loved surfing, fishing and soccer. Zikim Beach was like a second home to him, and he worked selling flowers on Fridays to help fund surfing trips abroad. On October 7, Tal went fishing at Zikim Beach with friends Nadav Tayeb and Or Taasa, and all three were murdered by Hamas terrorists.
