Tamir Nimrodi, 18, of Nirit, was an Education Corps NCO serving with COGAT near the Erez Crossing. His work centered on helping facilitate aid and movement, reflecting his goal of helping others. On October 7, Hamas terrorists stormed his base and kidnapped Tamir alive, barefoot and in pajamas. He was murdered in captivity, and his body was returned to Israel in October 2025.
