Thawatchai “Seng” Saetao, 26, was an agricultural worker from Nan province in northern Thailand who had worked in Israel for about a year and a half, sending money home to his wife and young son. On October 7, he was on a video call with his son for the boy’s second birthday when the attack began. He promised to buy him birthday gifts before ending the call. Hamas terrorists murdered Seng in Kibbutz Alumim. His remains were returned to Thailand in November.
