Teshager Taka, 21, of Jerusalem, was an Ethiopia-born Golani soldier known as Benny who was just three weeks from completing his service. When Hamas terrorists attacked the Kissufim outpost on October 7, Teshager initially had no weapon but found one and joined the fight. He killed two attackers before being slain, and his actions were credited with saving at least one fellow soldier.
