Tom Godo, 52, of Kibbutz Kissufim, was a husband and father of three young daughters. He shared his life with his wife, Limor Havdala, and their daughters Romi, Gefen and Tzuf, and was also a son and older brother in a close family. During the attack on Kissufim, Tom and his family sheltered together in their safe room. As terrorists reached the house, Tom held the safe-room door closed while his wife and daughters escaped through a window and were rescued. Tom was killed protecting them. He is remembered as a father whose final act helped his family survive.
