Tomer Barak, 20, of Petah Tikva, was a Golani soldier remembered as the glue that held his large circle of friends together. On patrol near the Paga outpost when the October 7 invasion began, Tomer and his comrades left their reinforced vehicles and chose to fight the Hamas attackers face-to-face. He was killed in the battle alongside several fellow Golani soldiers.
