Police Superintendent Vadim Blich, 39, was a husband, father of three and Ukrainian-born immigrant who had served in the Israel Police since 2010. Friends remembered him as modest, loyal and always ready to help others. On October 7, Vadim joined fellow officers entering Kibbutz Be’eri to rescue residents during the Hamas invasion. He was killed in the fighting while defending the kibbutz.
