Ya’akov Solomon
59 years old
Ya’akov Solomon, 59, grew up in Moshav Givati and built his life there with his wife Ronit and their three children. After studying seamanship in high school, he served in the Israeli Navy’s Shayetet 13 as a combat medic and managed the unit clinic. Even after reaching the usual end of reserve duty, Ya’akov volunteered to continue serving. He later studied mechanical engineering at Ben-Gurion University, helped establish the Tadirgan factory in northern Israel and managed production departments. His family remembered a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved sports, order and responsibility.
