Yagev, 35, was a musician, soundman and gifted craftsman who built his own instruments, including electric guitars. He and his wife Rimon were high-school sweethearts who reconnected years later and married in 2021. Their home was filled with music and rescued animals. His sister remembered a modest, quiet big brother who seemed to know something about everything and always noticed people others overlooked.
Kidnapped alive on October 7 and murdered in captivity in February 2024; body recovered August 2024
