Shlomo Yaakov Krasniansky, 23, was an undercover Border Police officer who left the ultra-Orthodox world at 17 and built a life of service. His mother remembered him as bright, humble and deeply devoted to Israel. On October 7, Yaakov fought alongside Kibbutz Nahal Oz’s security team against the Hamas invasion. Fellow fighters said he helped lead the defense and saved lives before he was killed in battle.
