Yaniv Sarudi, 26, was a former Kfir Brigade combat soldier who had begun working in film, television and commercial production and was part of Supernova’s logistics team. During the attack, he seized a weapon from a terrorist, fought back and drove away with his girlfriend Sivan and eight other people. Even after being shot twice, Yaniv kept driving until they reached safety. He later died of his wounds; most of those he rescued survived.
