Yannai Kaminka, 20, of Tzur Hadassah, was a Home Front Command officer, former scout leader and talented musician. When Hamas terrorists attacked the Zikim training base on October 7, Yannai and other young officers led the defense while hundreds of new recruits sheltered behind them. He was killed fighting the attackers, but their stand helped save the base and its soldiers.
