Yarin Moshe Efraim, 24, of Petah Tikva, was remembered for his wide smile, caring nature and instinct to put other people before himself. He was managing a bar at the Nova festival with Eden Ohayon and Orel Abuhatzira. When the attack began, Yarin helped others escape before trying to save himself; one member of the wait staff said he directed her to hide in her car, helping save her life. Even while under attack, he avoided telling his mother what was happening because he did not want to frighten her. His family remembers a deeply selfless young man.
