Yaron Zohar, 19, of Kiryat Ata, was a Golani soldier and promising soccer player remembered as someone who was never angry. On October 7, he and his comrades fought dozens of Hamas terrorists near the Erez outpost. Yaron helped repel the attackers before he was fatally wounded by shrapnel during the battle.
