Yasmin Laura Bira, 51, originally from Argentina, lived at Kibbutz Be’eri with her husband, Oron, and their children. Just a month before October 7, Yasmin and Oron had traveled to Portugal to secure Portuguese passports and apply for their children. As terrorists stormed the kibbutz, Yasmin messaged her twin sister, Dalia, that the family was hiding in their shelter and that she was afraid. Yasmin, Oron, their daughters Tahir and Tahel, and Oron’s brother Tal were all murdered. Their older son Yahav was the family’s sole survivor.
