Yehuda Becher, 24, grew up in an ultra-Orthodox family in Betar Illit and later chose a different path for himself. Friends and family remembered him as charismatic, joyful and warmhearted, with big dreams and an ability to bring happiness to the people around him. Yehuda loved to sing, and a video recorded just days before October 7 of him singing the morning prayer “Elohai Neshama” in his car spread widely after his death. His brother remembered his sparkle and enormous heart, while friends described a gentle soul who looked for beauty in the world. Yehuda was murdered at the Supernova music festival.
