Kfar Azza
Igal Flash, 66, was an Israeli-born son of Holocaust survivors who lived in Kibbutz Kfar Aza with his American-Israeli wife Cindy. Their daughter remembered the couple as a loving, strong partnership and an inspiration to their family. On October 7, Igal and Cindy hid in their home’s safe room as Hamas terrorists attacked the kibbutz. Both were murdered there. For five days, their family did not know whether they had been killed or abducted before their bodies were found.
