Talmon
Yishay Fitusi, 21, of Talmon, was a Golani soldier remembered for his kindness and for taking troubled local teenagers under his wing. On October 7, his patrol was called back toward the Nahal Oz outpost after Hamas terrorists invaded the base. Their armored vehicle was struck by RPG fire near the entrance, forcing the soldiers out to fight face-to-face. Yishay was killed alongside his commander and fellow Golani soldiers while trying to repel the attack.
