Itzik Kozin, 72, was a longtime member of Kibbutz Be’eri. The son of Holocaust survivors, he came to the kibbutz as a teenager and later served in the Nahal Parachute Battalion. He worked for decades in agriculture and then at Be’eri’s printing press until retirement. Friends and relatives remembered him as a beloved kibbutz fixture who knew everyone, loved to share stories and gossip, and was deeply proud of his daughter Ela. On October 7, Hamas terrorists murdered Itzik in his home in Be’eri.
