Yogev Aharon, 20, of Pardes Hanna, was a Golani soldier who dreamed of traveling overseas after his service. When Hamas terrorists invaded the Kissufim outpost on October 7, Yogev grabbed his weapon and defended the entrance to a shelter, barefoot and still in pajamas. He repeatedly threw live grenades back at the attackers before a larger explosive killed him and several comrades.
