Yonatan Hai Azulai

Yonatan Chai Azulai, 25, of Jerusalem’s Nachlaot neighborhood, was a former combat soldier, a devoted Beitar Jerusalem fan and someone friends remembered as naturally social and able to make people feel like true friends. He worked at Jerusalem’s Marzipan Bakery and was the son of a close-knit family. On October 7, Yonatan attended the Supernova festival with his girlfriend, Tal, and friends. During the attack, he helped protect Tal and was murdered. He is survived by his mother and four siblings.
